*Video Was Shot Six Months Ago – Army
A video showing the plight of Nigerian soldiers fighting Boko Haram in the North East went viral recently on the Internet, sparking outrage.
The undated video, which was uploaded on YouTube on Tuesday, showed several soldiers surrounding three of their colleagues who they alleged fainted due to lack of food and water.
One of the soldiers explained that over 70 soldiers fainted due to lack of water, adding that they had spent up to three days at their location without water and food.
Another soldier begged that their message should be passed to President Muhammadu Buhari, suggesting it would be wrong for them to perish for lack of water after surviving Boko Haram.

However, following the release of the video to the public, the Nigerian Army said the problem was caused by a mischievous soldier, who had since been punished.
In a statement late on Tuesday by the Acting Director Army Public Relations, Brig. Gen.
