Buhari Insists On Ibrahim Magu As EFCC Chairman, Tells Senate To Approve His Appointment

President Muhammadu Buhari has insisted that the Senate confirm Mr. Ibrahim Magu as the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

This was contained in a letter written by the President to the Senate, asking the lawmakers to confirm, the appointment of the Acting Chairman of the EFCC.

Buhari’s letter was in response to the communication from the Senate on the rejection of Magu as EFCC chairman based on damning security report by the Department of State Services on the nominee.
