BREAKING: Ahmad Ahmad Sends Issa Hayatou Packing After 29 Years As CAF President

Madagascar’s Ahmad Ahmad has won the CAF Presidential elections, defeating Cameroon’s Issa Hayatou who has been in power since 1988 (29 years).

Ahmad won the election 34 to Hayatou’s 20 in the election held today in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to bring Hayatou’s 29 year reign as CAF president to an end.

Ahmad is saddled with the responsibility of ruling the continent’s top football body for the next 4 years.
