According to reports, Barcelona has agreed a good deal to sign Victor Moses for €90 million on 1st April.
The Nigeria international has been in fine form this season for Antonio Conte’s rampant Chelsea side despite playing in an unfamiliar defensive role.
This news is coming shortly after Chelsea lost to Crystal Palace and Moses was dropped from the team by Antonio Conte due to reasons unknown.
According to Barca’s representative Jagar Jag-a, the Spanish club met with their Chelsea counterparts earlier on Friday to discuss a deal to bring Moses to Camp Nou.
He will sign a five-year contract for Barca on the 1st of April before 11:59pm.
Moses will join up with Lionel Messi, Suarez and Neymar this week as he is to begin training ahead of Barca’s Champions league match against Juventus.
In a statement, Chelsea chairman Bruce Fe Lee admitted the offer was too good to refuse.
“We cannot turn down a transfer of this magnitude because, generally speaking, it is a good deal,” said Bruce.
“We have been very happy to have Victor here but it is part of our strategy, as a club and a company, to develop players to a level where they get so attractive that the biggest clubs will buy them for large sums of money.”
Well, it’s never to late to say Happy April 1st
