Dino Melaye, Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial district, today launched his book on anti-corruption titled: ‘Antidotes For Corruption: The Nigerian Story.’
The launch, which took place today at the Shehu Musa Yar’adua centre in Abuja drew many top-shot politicians and government functionaries both past and present.
Among the dignitaries present as guests of honour were Senate President, Bukola Saraki, Speaker, House of Rep., Yakubu Dogara, former firstlady, Dame Patience Jonathan, Minister of labour, Chris Ngige among others.
An online news-site, Sahara Reporters, however condemned the values of those accorded the title of ‘special guest’ and who have been linked to one corrupt case or the other.
Patience Jonathan has been in a long running battle with anti-graft agency, EFCC over huge sums of money found in her account. Saraki is also in a battle with the code of conduct tribunal over undeclared assets.
