President Muhammadu Buhari today held a meeting with the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
The meeting came shortly after Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo wrote a damning letter to Buhari, where he advised Buhari not to seek re-election in 2019.
Also present in the meeting which held inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja was a chieftain of APC, Chief Bisi Akande.
Tinubu and Akande, who met with the president for about an hour, declined to speak to State House correspondents after the meeting.
It would be recalled that the two chieftains were absent at the last Thursday’s night dinner hosted by President Buhari for APC chieftains across the country.
The national chairman of the APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, led the party chieftains during the dinner.
