The Super Eagles of Nigeria could hardly contain their excitement after qualifying for the 2018 world cup in Russia – and that same excitement was present as they unveiled a new jersey today.
Nigeria unveiled new kits, designed by Nike, that would be used by the Super Eagles at the world cup – paying tributes to the Green Eagles team of 1994.
The kits, which were unveiled by Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) in London on Wednesday, surely got the Nigeria football stars excited.
A behind-the-scene video has been released featuring Super Eagles players: John Obi Mikel, Kelechi Iheanacho, Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi.
The players were taken into a room where the jersey was unveiled to them. Their first word was “wow” while Mikel, who was very impressed, said,
“I see the players going crazy over this one”
