Dana airways is in the news yet again for the wrong reasons as one of it’s aircrafts overshot the runway and ended up in the bush while trying to land in Port Harcourt.
The aircraft with registration number 5N-SRI was flying into Port Harcourt from Lagos when the incident happened.
Passengers on board the aircraft were evacuated from a nearby bush in Omagwa neighborhood where the Port Harcourt International airport is located in Rivers state.
Emergency officials, as at the time of this report, stated that no one was injured.
It would be recalled that Dana experienced a crash in 2012 killing 153 passengers in a Lagos suburb.
Also just days ago, the airline witnessed a scandal where its exit door fell off upon landing in Abuja.
