Lionel Messi finally brought his goal drought against Chelsea to an end as he scored a second half equaliser at the Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.
It took Messi nine games and 730 minutes but he finally broke his Chelsea curse with a crucial goal.
Chelsea winger, Willian had given Chelsea the lead with a well taken goal that left Barcelona goalkeeper, Marc Ter Stegen rooted to the spot.

Chelsea looked to be running away with the win before an error at the back allowed Iniesta drive into the box before finding Messi with a pass, which Messi calmly slotted past Courtois.
Chelsea coach, Antonio Conte had chosen to leave his two strikers – Morata and Giroud – on the bench, preferring to play Hazard as a false nine flanked by William and Pedro.
Willian almost put the home side ahead but was denied by twice by the post with the Barca keeper failing to get to the ball.

He however got his goal after finding enough space outside the box to beat Ter Stegen
Messi had other ideas, though, capitalising on sloppy Chelsea defending to slot in from Andres Iniesta’s pass to give Barca a narrow advantage ahead of the second leg on March 14
