A Victor Moses penalty was all that was needed for the Super Eagles of Nigeria to defeat Poland in an international friendly on Friday night.
The Chelsea winger was brought down in the box and the refree pointed to the spot as Moses converted the penalty and extended Gernot Rohr’s unbeaten run.
Poland started the match on a bright note and saw star striker and captain, Robert Lewandowski hit the base of the post after a lovely cross in the first half.
The home team kept pressing to get a goal in front of their fans at the Stadion Miejsk all to no avail.

The second half started almost the same way until a brilliant run from Victor Moses drew a penalty which he coolly converted.
Nigeria held out for the rest of the game to secure a crucial win over a Polish team ranked 6th in the world.
Nigeria would take on Serbia on Tuesday while Poland will seek redemption when they face South Korea.
