Footballers always dream of exiting the scene on a grand stage but this might not be the case for Barcelona star midfielder, Andres Iniesta.
The midfield maestro hinted that he may have played his last game for Barcelona after the Blaugrana crashed out in dramatic fashion in Rome.
Barca couldn’t make their 4-1 first leg advantage over Roma count as they caved under pressure in the second leg at the Stadio Olimpico, crashing out of the UEFA champions league.
Roma won 3-0 on the night, sending them through to the semi-finals by virtue of their away goal at the Nou Camp last week.

And when quizzed by the press after the game, legendary midfielder Iniesta admitted he may have kicked his last ball for Barcelona in Europe.
“This is a painful defeat because we didn’t expect it because of the advantage we had,” he said.
“It’s a possibility [that this is my last game in the competition], but it’s not the day to send messages, we are all hurt.
“It’s not a question of asking forgiveness [from fans], things go for you or they don’t, but the need to win is always the same. We will give our best for two competitions that remain.”
Meanwhile Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde was left blaming a ferocious atmosphere at Roma’s Olympic Stadium and the Italian side’s aggressive play for his team’s elimination.
