The ruling All Progressives Congress has rescheduled its Ekiti governorship primary election,further raising uncertainty over the exercise.
The primary, which was earlier scheduled for Friday, has now been rescheduled to Saturday.
The change in date was as a result of consultations by the aspirants, NWC and stakeholders of the party.
In a tweet on its official Twitter handle @OfficialAPCNg, the party said:
“APC has rescheduled the Ekiti governorship primary election for Saturday May 12, 2018. Time: 8am prompt. This followed consultation between the APC National Working Committee (NWC), aspirants and other stakeholders”
