Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon has finally been ruled out of Nigeria’s contingent to the world cup taking place in Russia in the next two weeks.
Moses had earlier picked up an injury in training in the Super Eagles camp.
A first scan conducted showed that the player would be out for between 3 and 4 weeks. A second scan was conducted in Abuja which also showed the same result as the first.
Due to his importance to the team, the coach decided against dropping the fleet-footed player after Nigeria’s friendly against DR Congo, instead choosing to take the player to London for a third scan.
The third scan carried out in London has now upheld the results of the first two, ultimately ruling the winger out of the world cup.
