President Muhammadu Buhari, today, played host to the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara.
The three leaders met over the recent killings that took place in Plateau state where suspected Fulani herdsmen killed many villagers.
The meeting took place at the Presidential Villa this morning before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
The meeting focused on ways in which the Legislature and the Executive can work together to resolve the issues while the National Assembly leaders received a briefing from the President on the steps being taken to tackle the crisis.
It would be recalled that Buhari has had a strained relationship with Saraki and Dogara, a fall-out of the strained relationship between the executive and the Judiciary.
