After years of service, trophies and goals, Cristiano Ronaldo is set to leave Real Madrid as Juventus are reportedly willing to offer close to 100 million euros for his services.
The Old Lady, as Juventus are popularly referred to, have been working on the transfer and are expected to make the signing barring any last minute change.
The Italian giants are set to offer the Portuguese star 30m euros per year.
Real Madrid had set Ronaldo’s release clause had been set at 1 billion euros but a written agreement between both parties ensures that the club would sell should a reasonable offer arrive.
Moreover, Juventus aren’t considered direct rivals, a fact that could facilitate a deal.
Aware of the differences between the 33-year-old and Florentino Perez, Juve are willing to lure Ronaldo to Italy by offering a four-year contract to the player.
