Nigeria’s Super Eagles Chief Coach, Yusuf Salifu has been caught in the web of corruption currently sweeping African football as he has been accused of collecting bribe.
Yusuf was caughton camera receiving a bribe of $1000 to influence his squad selection for the 2018 CHAN competition.
The bribe was offered by undercover agents who pretended to be football agents.
This revelation is part of an undercover investigation by BBC Africa Eye, and was captured by Ghanaian journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas in September 2017.

Yusuf has denied any wrongdoing, saying that he received $750 not $1000 and that it was a gift as it did not influence his team selection
Yusuf, who is the chief coach of the Super Eagles, and first assistant during the World Cup, is due to lead the national team to the Olympics in 2020.
Salisu is presently on a N3 million salary by the NFF
