President Muhammadu Buhari has clinched the presidential ticket to represent the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the 2019 election.
This was announced yesterday at the APC National convention that took place at the Eagles square in Abuja.
Kayode Fayemi, while announcing the results, disclosed that Buhari clinched the ticket with 14,842,072 million votes.
He noted that the direct primaries method was adopted and APC delegates all across the country voted overwhelmingly for Buhari.
Buhari would go into the 2019 elections, hoping to be the only president since former president Olusegun Obasanjo to clinch a second term ticket.
