“How Can You Be A Party Of Change And Allow Such Impunity?” – Aisha Buhari Slams Oshiomhole, APC Over Primary Elections

First lady of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari, has slammed the All Progressive Congress (APC) over the conduct of its primary election ahead of 2019 election.
Aisha, wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, described the party primaries as unfair and asked the populace to be ready to vote wisely in the forthcoming election.
She also took a swipe at APC chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, for allegedly turning a blind eye to the ‘impunity’ taking place in the party.
President Buhari emerged unopposed in a direct primary election, but the exercise in some states was marred by controversies.
Given this development one will not hesitate than DISSOCIATE from such unfairness, be neutral and speak for the voiceless.

Commenting via Twitter on Sunday, the president’s wife expressed her disappointment over the way APC, led by Adams Oshiomhole, conducted the primaries.
“It is disheartening to note that some aspirants used their hard earned money to purchase nomination forms, got screened, cleared and campaigned vigorously yet found their names omitted on Election Day, these forms were bought at exorbitant prices,” she wrote.
“All Progressives Congress being a party whose cardinal principle is change and headed by a comrade/activist whose main concern is for the common man, yet, such impunity could take place under its watch.
“Given this development one will not hesitate than DISSOCIATE from such unfairness, be neutral and speak for the voiceless.
“It is important for the populace to rise against impunity and for voters to demand from aspirants to be committed to the provision of basic amenities such as 1. Potable drinking water 2. Basic health care ( Primary Health Care centers) ”
“3. Education within conducive & appropriate learning environments. Let us vote wisely!”
There have also been issues over the conduct of the party’s governorship primaries in Imo, Rivers, Zamfara, and Kaduna states.
