The last has not been seen or heard of the current controversy trailing the Kano state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, as another video has emerged of him collecting bribe in dollars.
A video trending on social media over the weekend showed Ganduje allegedly receiving kickback from contractors but there was no way to identify his voice as a song was used in the background.
However, a new video has been released where the voices of those in the video can be heard as they spoke in Hausa language.
The video published by Daily Nigerian, an online newspaper, showed the governor receiving bundles of dollars and putting them into his white dress known as ‘babanriga’ in the northern part of Nigeria.
According to the newspaper, the governor had requested for $5 million from the contractors who recorded the video while handing part of the payment to him.
According to Daily Nigerian, this is the second of the 15-series trove of video clips obtained by the news outfit.
