Cristiano Ronaldo will tonight return to where it all began for him as Juventus travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United in the Uefa champions league group H match.

Ronaldo first burst into limelight following his move from Portugal to England, where he had many successful seasons with Man Utd, winning the premier league, FA Cup, champions league and FIFA Balon d’or as a United player.

The Portuguese is still very much loved and respected at the club and he is surely looking forward to facing his old side and former boss, Jose Mourinho (who coached him at Real Madrid).

There were initial fears that Ronaldo wouldn’t make the trip after he was shown a red card in Juventus’ first group game- a 2-0 win over Valencia.

He was however suspended for only one game- missing the 3-0 win over BSC Young Boys.

Juve would be without Emre Can, Sami Khedira and Mario Mandzukic who are all injured but they can still boast of enough firepower with Dybala and Ronaldo.

Meanwhile, Man Utd would be missing the services of Fellaini and Lingard who are injured while Alexis Sanchez and Phil Jones also miss out.

Man United: De Gea; Young, Smalling, Bailly, Shaw; Fred, Matić, Pogba; Rashford, Lukaku, Martial

Juventus: Szczesny; Cancelo, Bonucci, Chiellini, Alex Sandro; Bentancur, Pjanić, Matuidi; Bernardeschi, Dybala, Ronaldo
