Nigeria 4-0 Zambia: Super Falcons Thrash Zambians Despite Missing Many Opportunities | Goals & Highlights #AWCON2018

It was a dominant display for the Super Falcons of Nigeria as they made light work of Zambia, beating their opponents 5-0 in their African Women Cup of Nations in Ghana.
Zambia had won their opening game by humiliating Equatorial Guinea 5-0 in their opening game while the Falcons lost their opening game by a 1-0 margin to South Africa.
Nigeria had several chances to take the lead but were thwarted by the strong Zambian side and it looked like both teams would go into halftime level on scores.
A 43rd minute goal by Desire Oparanozie however changed the look of the game as she finished off a fine move after a good cross from Francisca Ordega.
Francesca Ordega’s curler for @NGSuper_Falcons 2nd goal will have you watch this goal more than once.

The Falcons came into the second half looking hungrier but were thwarted by the Zambian goalkeeper who was kept busy all match long.
Forgive the commentator 😔 but Rasheed Ajibade rattling that bar was a genius shot.
No swag, no dressing just simple and clinical shot for @NGSuper_Falcons 3rd goal. #TotalAWCON18 pic.twitter.com/4RfF6daCRx

The Zambian goalie was however helpless as Nigeria doubled their lead courtesy of a fine curling ball by Ordega after Oparanozie had hit the post with her shot.
Youngster, Rasheedat Ajibade was introduced for the Falcons and got the third goal in stunning fashion. Her shot from inside the box bounced off the bar and into the post.
Amarachi Okoronkwo got the last goal of the game which also proved to be the last kick of the game.
The Falcons temporarily go top of the table ahead of South Africa and Equatorial Guinea who play later tonight
