The Super Falcons of Nigeria have emerged as the winner of the 2018 African Women cup of Nations after defeating South Africa 4-3 on penalties.
The match, which lived up to its billing, saw the two teams play 120 minutes without scoring a goal.
The match then went to penalties as the Falcons lost their first spot-kick with the Bayana Bayana scoring their first penalty to send the fans into a frenzy.
The Super Falcons however turned the penalty on its head, dispatching the remaining spotkicks while Bayana Bayana lost two, handing the trophy to the Falcons.
