Former Chelsea and current Real Madrid goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, has been ranked as the best goalkeeper in the world, according to the Ballon d’or ranking.
Courtois, who is ranked in 14th position, emerged as the best goalkeeper on the list.
The stopper, who didn’t have the best of seasons with Chelsea in the premier league, went on to make up for it at the 2018 FIFA world cup in Russia.
He was a constant figure in goal as Belgium went on to claim 3rd place at the football showpiece.
The superb performances for the national team caught the eyes of Real Madrid with Courtois completing a dream move to the Spanish capital in the summer.
The move has however not been the smoothest for the keeper as he has been conceding tons of goals while the team has also been on bad form.
