Making his full international debut and first start for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Paul Onuachu has grabbed the headlines for the right reasons.
The striker who plays for FC Midtjyland in Denmark, who was brought in to replace the injured Odion Ighalo, netted Nigeria’s first goal against Egypt just seconds after kick-off.
He did well to shrug off attention from an Egyptian defender before unleashing an unstoppable shot into the top corner of the net.
The dignitaries had barely made their way back to their seats from the introduction of the teams and the national anthems that Paul Onuachu fired Nigeria into the lead.#NGAEGY#SoarSuperEagles #Team9jaStrong.
