“Do you know sir, there are Nigerians who use their cellphones to import pizza from London. Buy in London, they bring it on British airways in the morning to pick up at the airport. It is a very annoying situation.
“We have to move a lot faster in cutting down some of these…”
His comments have however generated different reactions with some attacking the Minister for his comments. See some reactions below

If you think Nigeria as a country is not a joke then, you are still sleeping.
First, Minister of Power, Fashola told us that “some States are enjoying 24 hour Power Supply”
Now, Minister of Agriculture, Audu Ogbeh said “some Nigerians import Pizza from London.

What really was Audu Ogbeh’s point about ordering pizza from London? It is killing our local pizza industry? Affecting our production of wheat and other ingredients used in making pizza? Or just indignation at people enjoying their money?

Audu Ogbeh’s pronouncements reveals the stifling approach of Buhari’s government to international trade and investments. Trade liberalization means one can order what he wants from wherever, whenever. Remove all the needless restrictions!
